Question: Why is my candle releasing soot?

Answer: Soot is a natural occurrence for any candle. If you're noticing more soot than usual on your candles, it could result from carbon build-up on wicks or over-burning them in places where drafts come from outside (ventilation).

Tip: If you're experiencing excess sooting, try trimming your wicks to 1/8" and moving the candle elsewhere or extinguishing it if burning for more than 3-4 hours.

Question: Why isn’t my candle releasing a strong fragrance?

Answer: Fragrance is subjective, and some fragrances can be stronger than others. Try to move the candle to another location.

Rule of thumb: single wick candles for smaller rooms, double wick candles for medium sized rooms, and triple-wick candles for larger rooms.

 

Question: Why is my candle tunneling? (Wax build up on the edges of the candle)

Answer: When you see candle tunnels, it is likely that the wax has not been burning long enough for pooling at either end.

Tip: If the candle has begun to tunnel, burn the candle for 3-4 hours to allow the candle to self-correct. Continue to burn in 3-4 hour increments until the candle wax levels out.

 

Question: Why isn’t my wick staying lit?

Answer: Wax and fragrance can sometimes clog the wick.

Tip: Blow out the flame, wait for the candle to cool, trim the tip of the wick, then twist the wick with your fingers to loosen the fibers in the wick. This will allow the fragrance and wax to absorb more freely through the wick.

Question: What type of wax is used in the candles?

Answer: Our candles are made from wax blends that include coconut, palm, and small traces of refined paraffin. Our candles are non-toxic for humans and pets.

 

Question: How many ounces of wax are in each candle?

Answer: The average ounces will vary depending on the candle's vessel.

For our Signature Candles, the average ounces of wax per size is:

Single Wick: 9 oz.

Double Wick: 15 oz.

 

Question: Do your wicks contain lead?

Answer: Our wicks are 100% pure cotton and contain no lead.

 

Question: Are the candles made with natural fragrances?

Answer: Our candles are made with essential, natural, and synthetic oils.

 

Question: Are your candles vegan and cruelty free?

Answer: Yes, our candles are 100% vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. They do not contain any animal products, nor have they been tested on animals.

Question: Can I change my order?

If you need to make changes to your order, please email us within 24 hours at

info@candleosophy.com and we will be happy to make the changes you wish.

If your order has already been shipped we will not be able to change it unfortunately. Please make sure to check you have picked the right size and color to avoid disappointment.

Question: I entered my shipping address incorrectly

If you realized you entered your shipping address incorrectly, please contact us at info@candleosophy.com ASAP and no later than 24 hrs. If you realized after 24 hrs has gone by, unfortunately, your package will already be on its way to the address you entered. Any packages returned due to a wrong or incorrect address will be reshipped at the cost of the purchaser.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it as we can not be responsible for information entered incorrectly such as credit card information or addresses. 

 

Question: When will I receive my order?

It very much depends what you order and we specify in each product page how long your order will take to be delivered. Our best sellers are constantly restocked and usually delivered to most US states within 4-9 days.

We do our upmost to make sure most products are delivered within 15 days to most global locations. However, during the times we are experiencing high volume of orders things get a little slower. So please bear with us, you will get your order and it'll hopefully be worth the wait .

If you ordered more than one item, please note that they may be shipped separately and arrive at different times. This is because we have warehouses in different locations in the US and each item may arrive separately if it's from a different warehouse.

 
Please check the product page for specific delivery time frames provided for each product.

We will often send you a tracking number of your item but if for whatever reason you did not receive it, please email us at

info@candleosophy.com to request your tracking number.

Please be aware that we are working hard to get all deliveries out ASAP. We know it may be frustrating to wait longer than expected for your order, but the one thing we don’t want to do is sacrifice the quality of our products. Thanks for understanding.

 

Question: Do I get a tracking number for my order? 

Yes, we will provide tracking number that provided by our suppliers. We will update the tracking number once our system updated.

Please email us at info@candleosophy.com if you haven't received a tracking number 7 days after purchase and we will resolve your issues.

 

Question: I ordered multiple items but only received one, where is my other order?

Please note that we have variety of warehouses where the products are shipped from and therefore your items are likely to be processed separately. So please be patient cos we can assure you that your other items are on their way to you.

 

Question: I haven't received any order confirmation details?

After you order from our site, you will be receiving multiple emails from us including an order confirmation, a fulfillment notice, shipping notice and a tracking number. Could you have possibly entered your email address incorrect? If that's the case please contact us at info@candleosophy.com to let us know and we will amend your details.
